Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain English, what information MsgVine keeps, why, and how you can remove it. It is informational and not legal advice.
What we collect
- Your Google account name, email address and profile picture, used to sign you in.
- Contacts you import or type in: names, phone numbers, lists, statuses and notes.
- Message templates, images you upload, campaigns and the send history you record.
- Credit balance, credit usage and purchase records.
Why we use it
Only to run MsgVine for you: to show your contacts, prepare personalised messages, track who you have contacted, and keep your credit balance correct. We do not sell your data and we do not message your contacts ourselves.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with our cloud hosting provider. Each account can only see its own data. The site owner's admin view shows totals per account (for example, how many contacts or messages) and never your contacts or message text.
Sending through WhatsApp
MsgVine prepares each message, then opens WhatsApp so you can send it yourself. Once WhatsApp opens, WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation.
AI writing
When you click to write message versions with AI, the text you supply is sent to an AI provider to produce suggestions. Contact details are not included.
Payments
Credit purchases are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by MsgVine. We keep a record of what you bought and when.
Cookies and analytics
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies inside the app. If we add analytics to public pages later, this page will be updated first.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays until you delete it. You can delete your whole account in Settings by typing DELETE to confirm; this removes your contacts, templates, images and campaigns straight away. Deleted contacts sit in Trash for 30 days unless you empty it sooner.
Security
We use secure connections and per-account access rules. No online service can promise perfect security, so please only import contacts you have a right to message.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
